About This Crazy Chef…

I am a 48 year old chef that has been in the foodservice industry for roughly 30 years. Holy crap, it has been that long…  I’ve seen my share of the good, the bad, the ugly and the stellar in kitchens all over the United States.  I’ve lived and worked in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Berkeley, Las Vegas, Austin, Santa Fe, Baltimore, Charlotte, NC and now finally back in Seattle.  I grew up in small town central Pennsylvania and escaped to Seattle as soon as I graduated high school.  I moved as far away from my hometown as I could so that I could escape the racism, sexism, homophobia and all the other shit that comes with a small little hick town.
